For reasons I won't go in to*, I purchased a new BlackBerry this week.
As Christmas rapidly approaches, my phone's inbox is a flurry of family emails discussing who's making what, staying where and arriving when. The entire DDD brood received a message from my brother with this sign-off:
Sent from my asus home computer
(I wanted to be pretentious like DDD)
Let it be said. I SUCK at technology. Unless I'm inspired. Exhibit A: this blog.
So, I shot off a reply informing my clan it is the phone which has inserted itself in my communications and that it is the one overly impressed with its Bold intelligence. And that -- thank you very much -- my brother was feeding in to the device's superiority complex, as evidenced by its new valediction:
Sent from a Verizon Wireless BlackBerry,
which can do more things
than you mere mortals will ever comprehend.
Smart phone. Smart ass.
*While loading shopping bags in the backseat, I put my phone down on the roof of the car. Then I hit the highway. Oops.
On Saturday we took some pictures together. You've already seen one of
them. You'll have already seen this one, if you follow ILB too; he posted
it on ...

LOL...of that I am most familiar...car roofs and cell phones are not a match. BTW, I don't come here often, and when I do, I so very much enjoy...your wit and style are superbly entertaining. Much thanks!
